We believe developers should spend their time writing code, not configuring the environments that test it.
TekWeave was founded in 2024 by a team of engineers who had spent years building and maintaining microservice test suites. The problem was always the same: writing the tests was the easy part. Getting the environment right — the right database version, the right service dependencies, the right seed data — consumed hours that should have gone to shipping features.
We tried Dockerfiles, we tried Compose files, we tried shared developer VMs. None of it solved the core issue: environment setup is bespoke, fragile, and lives in someone's head. When that person is out sick, the whole team is blocked.
TekWeave was our answer. By combining AI inference with container orchestration directly inside the IDE, we eliminated the configuration layer entirely. Today, TekWeave provisions over 1.2 million test environments every month for engineering teams around the world.
CEO & Co-founder
Previously Staff Engineer at HashiCorp, where she led the Terraform Cloud testing infrastructure. Built developer tools used by 500K+ engineers.
CTO & Co-founder
Former Principal Engineer at Docker, Inc. Designed container lifecycle systems that power millions of daily builds. Holds 4 patents in container orchestration.
VP Engineering
Previously at JetBrains and Gradle. Led the team that shipped Gradle's test distribution engine. Joined TekWeave to build the IDE integration layer.
VP Product
10 years in developer tooling at GitHub and Atlassian. Obsessed with reducing the distance between a developer's intent and a working environment.
We raised a $19M Series A in 2025 led by Heavybit Partners, with participation from Boldstart Ventures, Harpoon VC, and angels including engineering leaders from HashiCorp, Docker, and JetBrains. We're building a long-term, independent company — no growth-at-all-costs, no forced exits.
We're a team of 38 spread across Austin, TX and Amsterdam. We're fully remote-friendly and hiring across engineering, developer relations, and customer success. If you think deeply about developer experience and want to work on a problem that affects every software team on the planet, we'd love to hear from you.
